December 2006

Dimerix announces that it has acquired rights to a new technology from the University of Western Australia. The technology inventors, A/Professor Karin Eidne, Dr Kevin Pfleger and co-workers based in the Laboratory for Molecular Endocrinology at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research have successfully tested a novel cellular assay (GPCR-HIT) on a number of GPCR heterodimer combinations.

August 2006

Dimerix Bioscience have announced Board and Management changes with the appointment of Dr James Williams as CEO and Executive Director, and Dr Tony Mason as Scientific Advisor. James and Tony bring significant scientific and commercial experience to the Dimerix team.

March 2005

Starpharma and QPSX announced the launch of a new start-up biotechnology company as foundation shareholders. The company, Dimerix Bioscience Pty Ltd, has also commenced a joint venture with Starpharma to investigate the applications of Starpharma's dendrimer nano-particles together with the Dimerix Collision technology, to create a new class of polyvalent pharmaceutical compounds. Dendrimers allow chemists to produce highly defined and biocompatible nanoscale objects built from the 'bottom up', which are particularly attractive to the challenges presented by GPCR complexes.
