In-House Applications and Collaborations
Dimerix's research is conducted at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research, where the technology was developed. Its research focus includes:
- GPCR-HIT Matrix: Identification of a panel of novel GPCR heterodimer receptor targets.
- Medical Use Patents: Develop novel therapeutic strategies based on the GPCR heterodimer targets. For example, where the knowledge of a heterodimer can explain side effects of a given drug, identify combination therapies involving the partner receptor.
- High Throughput Screening Demonstration: Scale the assay to industrial high-throughput screening (HTS) standards, and conduct a screen for heterodimer specific compounds. This work is being conducted in collaboration with the Chinese National Center for Drug Screening (NCDS).
- Drug Discovery Collaborations: Establish strategic collaborations within the GPCR space.
